Funding

Funding is available through Aberdeen City Council for 3- 5 year old children, from the term after their 3rd birthday.  

Applications for this should be done through nursery not on the ACC website as that is for local authority nurseries only.

Funding can be taken at 30 hours per week over 38 weeks per year (term time) or for 22.8 hours per week over 50 weeks per year.

Funding amounts change termly depending on the length of the term.

Eligible 2 Funding

Funding for 2 year olds may be available through the eligible 2 scheme if families meet certain criteria.  This can be a variety of things but includes claiming certain benefits, low-income families, a looked after child, a kinship care order or a guardianship order.  Full information about this can be found at Eligible2Applications https://www.aberdeencity.gov.uk/services/education-and-childcare/family-information-service/early-learning-and-childcare-eligible-2-application-process
